Patrizio Mugnaini,
nasce nel 1951 a Buenos Aires (Argentina).

La sua è una di quelle vite variegate, difficile da comprendere o descrivere seguendone il corso naturale.

Mugnaini è uno esploratore dell’esistenza.
Sfiora le sue infinite possibilità e ne trattiene la melodia, variazioni su tema che determinano i vari stadi di un percorso iniziato molto presto e che lo ha portato a conoscere la cruda realtà, lontana dall’Arte ma molto vicina alla sinfonia cromatica della vita.
L’attività artistica dimora silente nel suo intimo, la quotidianità incombe nella veste dei più svariati lavori: operaio, impiegato, pubblicista, rappresentante, ristoratore, grafico pubblicitario fino a giungere alla sua attuale attività d’imprenditore.

Poliedrico e versatile cura molti hobby quali:
lettura (C.Dickens - H. Melville - V. Hugo - L. N. Tolstoj - F. M. Dostoevskij -Thomas Mann - Marcel Proust - J. Saramago - Mo Yan - Vladimir Nabokov), pittura, corsa (mezza maratona), cucina, bicicletta (corsa - mountain bike), trekking modellismo, moto, tiro con l’arco (olimpico).

Nelle sue opere la trama di un racconto ancora da scoprire, ancora da completare, ancora da vivere nella sua interezza giorno dopo giorno.
Dipinge per il piacere di comunicare.

All’esperienza surrealista si rifà Patrizio Mugnaini, il quale intende la pittura come gioco, meraviglia, invenzione onirica.

Nato a Buenos Aires,
Mugnaini vive a Firenze, e
persegue il primato del disegno, ma la sua pittura non sarebbe senza una decisiva riflessione su Van Gogh come esempio di urgenza e
necessità espressiva.

Una irresistibile spinta a comunicare
con il mondo, a non
nascondere il proprio turbamento interiore.
Ed è certo che Muganini è irresistibile.
La sua vitalità, la sua necessità di esprimersi, sono incontenibili.
La sua pittura esprime energia, ed è indifferente alla coerenza formale, intendendola come un
limite all’espressione della vita.
